I grew up immersed in real estate. From a young age I’d sharpen pencils for students while my father was a proctor for the state exam (no computer, my friends). Endlessly driving on Indiana roads and experiencing the simplicity of a small town, and the excitement of the city, and appreciating what both can offer. Hearing all the tenant stories, watching the construction of commercial plans; all while living through our own home renovations, home after home, but without the glitz and glamour of it all. (It’s fun, but TV sometimes isn’t real, friends).
After school I turned to multi-family and short-term rentals only to pivot after five years, because…well that’s life. Many years later after pharmaceutical planning and finance resume boosters I sat down and had an honest conversation with myself. What am I missing? The answer, Real Estate. Although I do love real estate, I love the people who I encounter more. So, I went to work growing, learning, and building Hous & Company Real Estate Group. As Henry David Thoreau once said, "Chopping your own wood will warm you twice. "
I currently live in Boone County and still enjoy being close to the big city and not far from a small town. When asked my favorite book or movie, I will always choose MUSIC. I am currently raising two very active boys with my husband, and I indulge on occasion on lemon loaf and lattes. My chosen career is real estate, but my passion is philanthropy. Together, with my buyers and sellers, we make an impact in the communities in which we live.
